New hire truck types for November

We are introducing two new vehicle classes for November. These units will be available for hire via the online system and we will usually have these units in stock and ready to go.

In the light hire truck class we are introducing the 16ft curtain side truck.

This is a car licence class of truck, it can be driven on a standard car licence. The Body offers a full 16ft of internal space and has a payload of 750kg. These bodies are manufactured entirely of aluminium, which keeps the unladen weight to a minimum. This type of vehicle is suitable only for light loads, such as insulation or light furniture. These units do not come with a tail lift as the payload would be reduced too much by the addition of a lift unit. These units are based on Mitsubishi Fuso and Izusu Npr truck chassis.

In the medium truck rental class we are adding 20ft curtain side units.

These curtain side units can be ordered with or without a 1 tonne lift at the rear. The Interior height is 7’ 6” and payload is approximately 3 tonnes. Users of this type of truck require a C1 Licence to drive. They are rated at 7.5 tonnes gross. We offer the choice of Mercedes Atego and MAN units.

We can offer either of these units on a contract hire or spot hire basis to business users. By taking vehicles long term you can avail of very cheap truck rental rates.
