The Fridge rental van is an important product for our customer’s and one that we put quite a bit of thought into providing. Many traditional hire companies keep a couple of ex lease refrigerated units for daily fridge van rental. In our opinion this approach does not give customers the level of reliability and consistency of unit quality that their expensive load requires.

A Powerful and Reliable Van….
All of our refrigerated hire vans are based on the Ford Transit T350 long wheel base. These full height units are powered by the efficient 2.4 turbo diesel engine and are equipped with a six speed transmission. The new Transit provides far better ergonomics and comfort than its predecessor and is a driver favorite. The T350 varient gives additional payload capacity while still only requiring a car license to drive.

We looked at many different variants of refrigeration units before settling on Thermo King. Our units are capable of both Chill and Freeze requirements and have single phase plugin for overnight refrigeration.
Rather than the cheaper foam based installation we provide a custom kit based interior which provides uniform dimensions and more efficient cooling characteristics than cheaper interiors. All interior lights are led based to further aid in efficiency.
There are double rear doors and a single side door for easy access. There is a control and monitoring display in the cab to provide feedback to the operator on the load temperature.

Vehicles are normally of the specification mentioned but cannot be guaranteed. Please ask at the time of booking
Insurance- Use your own or purchase ours. Drivers need to be 27-70.
Credit Cards - Your credit card is never processed until vehicle collection, there is a 500 Euro deposit required on our vehicles.
Licence - Driver must have held a full licence for 2 years, licence needs to be present at pickup.
Tolls - M50 trips are paid for upon return of vehicle, all other tolls are paid for directly by customer.
Going aboard - Company must arrange AA European cover and inform us of Travel destination, A surcharge will apply for vehicles taken abroad. A higher deposit applies for travel abroad.
Parking - You are more than welcome to use our car park for the duration of our rental.
